Customer Service

Our Customer services call in centre was opened on the 12th July 1999 and is located on the ground floor in Hawkins House Hawkins Street Dublin 2. The Department of Health and Children is committed to providing a customer service in an efficient and friendly manner as speedily as possible.The call- in- centre is there to provide up to date, clear, accurate and detailed information concerning the Department.

We are open Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm including lunchtime.

Our phone number is 6354000. For those calling from outside the 01 area we have a lo-call number 1890 200311. If you know the extension of the person you wish to contact then you can dial 635 followed by the extension number required.

Our new refurbished reception area includes the following facilities to personal callers:

o private interview room

o call in centre

o an electronic noticeboard

o uplights in the floor for the visually impaired

o access to toilets for the disabled

o lifts with voice direction and braille floor indicator buttons

o baby changing facilities in both ladies and gents toilets

o a full range of health promotion material available on display

o audio loop for those
